The accelerator is added by weight to Part A and should be thoroughly mixed into Part A before adding Part B.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eNote: \u003c\/strong\u003eAdding the accelerator drastically reduces the pot life (time you have to mix and pour material) of the liquid rubber product.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eInstructions\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSafety\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e - Use in a properly ventilated area (“room size” ventilation). Wear safety glasses, long sleeves and rubber gloves to minimize contamination risk.\u003cstrong\u003e Store and use material at room temperature (73°F\/23°C). \u003c\/strong\u003eThis product has a limited shelf life and should be used as soon as possible.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eExample - Ecoflex 00-30 (1:1 Mix Ratio):\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e To reduce the demold time of \u003cstrong\u003eEcoflex 00-30\u003c\/strong\u003e from 4 hours to 1 hour, add 40 grams of accelerator to 1000 grams of \u003cstrong\u003eEcoflex 00-30\u003c\/strong\u003e Part A. Mix thoroughly for one minute, making sure that you scrape the sides and bottom of your container several times. Next, add 1000 grams of Part B and mix thoroughly for one minute, again making sure that you scrape the bottom and sides of your container several times. Do not delay between mixing and pouring, as your pot life is about 10 minutes. In about 1 hour, the rubber mold can be removed from the original model.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eExample – Smooth Sil 940 (10:1 Mix Ratio): \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/em\u003eTo reduce the demold time of \u003cstrong\u003eSmooth-Sil 940\u003c\/strong\u003e from 16 hours to 2.5 hours, add 20 grams of accelerator to 1000 grams of Smooth-Sil 940 Part A. Mix thoroughly for one minute, making sure that you scrape the sides and bottom of your container several times. Next, add 100 grams of Part B and mix thoroughly for one minute, again making sure that you scrape the bottom and sides of your container several times. Do not delay between mixing and pouring, as your pot life is about 10 minutes.
